Welcome back fellow readers!

If you're anything like me you're just coming out of the fog of the holiday season.  I feel like I've been running around for the past two months non-stop.  Having a 9-5 job, a 3 year old, daily day-to-day things to do, trying to figure out holiday cooking/shopping, giving to charity (in whatever way I could) then followed up by New Year's I couldn't wait for it all to be over.  I've barely had time to get my head on straight.  Now that it's all over it's time to focus on my reading again.  Yay!  Of course like every year new reading challenges have popped up and I'm excited to read once again.  If I'm going to be honest I tried to do a reading challenge for 2017 and I completely sucked at it.  Why? You ask.  Because I wasn't prepared.  I thought I could look at the list and easily find a book and keep going.  Needless to say the whole thing got away from me and I just didn't succeed.  I do feel bad that I didn't do what I wanted but I'm not upset I made an effort to read more books.  With that said, here we are again and another year of challenges to tackle.  Since I don't want to set myself up to fail again I've made a decision on what challenges I want to do and took my time in finding the books for each category.

In case you want to take look at a master list of all the reading challenges the website Girlxoxo has done just that.  Which is awesome on their part.  I would also like to add that a few of the challenges require you to signup in their website and do a blog post, social media post or a review on a website like Goodreads to participate while others don't have any requirements.  It's your choice how you would like to proceed.

Last year I posted a list of Reading Challenges as suggestions in case you were unsure of what to pick.  This year I'm doing the same, but I'm including a reading key guide which will break down the amount of books you have to read for each challenge, not by level of difficulty.  I'm only including a few examples for each category to make things a little simpler for those searching for a reading challenge to do.
